Makoto Life Sciences, Inc. has developed a unique approach to pharmaceutical target identification and mechanism of action elucidation that combines genetic, biochemical and chemical methods.
The discovery of new small molecule-target pairs enables:

Central to Makoto’s approach to target identification is its unique multi-modal approach including Makoto activity profile platform (MAP) that generates compound signatures and reports cellular mechanism of action, and affinity chromatography.
Makoto’s initial platform development effort has been focused in the field of oncology under the discovery program with Taiho Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd of Japan. However, the Company’s platform has applicability to a wide range of therapeutic areas.
